"In Luce" was composed in 2015 as a work commissioned by the European Chamber Choir Cologne with regional music council funding to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, initially in the version for choir and a free guitar solo. The final version of the work, comprising a solo soprano, solo guitar, string orchestra and choir, was completed in February 2016.

A hymn to peace, the work focuses on two short lines: "Uomo nell' luce - Terra in pace". These words are repeated unceasingly in the style of a mantra, while - "Uomo..." is sung by the female and "Terra..." by the male choristers. "In Luce" is an ode to beauty, one of a cosmic nature beyond human creation, born of an intense belief that the "light in humankind" is the precondition for "peace on Earth". Based on three related five-part modes (each equivalent to five text syllables) a tapestry of canonical polyphonic and homophonic tones are interweaved into a dense movement in eight parts. Building up to the climax, the "Diamond" - a moment of ecstatic peace and power.
